We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Disability Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Certificate III in Disability or equivalent qualification, with a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Individualized Support: Assist clients with disabilities in their daily activities, including personal care, domestic tasks, and social activities.
  • Support Community Involvement: Help clients participate in community activities and access community resources.
  • Monitor Progress: Report on clients' progress and any changes in their needs or circumstances.
  • Foster a Supportive Environment: Create a supportive and inclusive environment that respects clients' rights, dignity, and independence.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality and coordinated care services.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Disability: Essential qualification for the role.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working in disability support or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathy and Patience: Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Background Checks: Willingness to undergo relevant background checks and screenings.
  • Preferred Candidate: Female candidates are preferred for this role due to the specific needs of our clients.
