Highly Skilled Tradesperson Wanted

This position is a Mechanical Fitter role that involves working with mining components, incorporating a new rotating 2-week schedule featuring one week of daytime shifts and one week of afternoon shifts.
Key requirements include experience in HME maintenance and component overhaul, along with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and upholding safety culture.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant trade certification, such as Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter or Electrical Fitter, accompanied by strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities comprise disassembling, inspecting, requalifying, assembling and testing wheel motors and alternators, measuring and inspecting critical journals, as well as contributing actively to Lean practices.
A valid driver's license is required, and extensive in-house training will be provided.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter or Electrical Fitter)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience in HME maintenance and component overhaul
