Job Opportunity: Skilled Tradesperson

A dynamic and supportive organization is recruiting skilled Mechanical Fitters to work on a range of exciting projects. If you have experience with fabricating, welding, and machining, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and weld mild steel and stainless steel using TIG/MIG/MMA techniques.
  • Maintain machining skills in milling, turning, and other relevant areas.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns during production to ensure efficient resolution.
  • Test equipment under the supervision of Project Engineers and record data accurately.
  • Assemble and fit machined parts using drill holes and tap threads, if necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant trade qualification - essential.
  • Confined Space license - essential (2 years).
  • Working at Heights license - essential (2 years).
  • Gas Test Atmospheres license - essential (4 years).
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
