About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Auditor, Officer to join our Corporate Audit Division. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for working on audit projects across State Street's Australia business, focusing on areas like Investment Management, Compliance, Global Markets or Corporate Functions. You'll also be involved in international audit projects, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, industry regulations, and IIA standards.
Your Key Responsibilities
- You'll assist in performing audits, specifically fieldwork and testing internal controls, evaluating risks, and applying audit skills.
- You'll demonstrate proficiency in documenting audit tests and findings in automated workpaper programs.
- You'll communicate audit progress and findings through reports and meetings.
- You'll develop and write-up audit findings, making recommendations for review by senior auditors and audit managers.
- You'll stay up-to-date with industry developments, including changes in regulations.
- As you grow in the role, you'll take on increasing responsibilities, making independent decisions within the scope of the audit assignment.

About Your Background
- You'll have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Alternative Risk functions, or Business Administration.
- CISA, ACA, CIA, or other industry-recognized certification is preferred.
