Electrical Design Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering design, particularly in mining or minerals processing applications.

About the Role:
  • Lead the detailed design of projects, supervising and directing engineers and designers.
  • Identify opportunities and oversee project execution.
  • Review design deliverables, including cable schedules, equipment lists, instrument lists, single lines, schematics, termination diagrams, and 3D model designs.
  • Specifying equipment, overseeing procurement.
  • Scoping electrical works, providing direction to contractors.
Requirements:
  • Electrical Engineering Degree, recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • Project design experience in mining or minerals processing applications.
  • Commercial awareness, ability to meet targets and budgets.
  • Effective communication with the engineering team and stakeholders.
  • Background in Motor Control Centres, Instrumentation specification.
  • Ability to instruct and manage designers.
  • Experience in consulting capacity.
  • A willingness to perform site work and commissioning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
