Regulatory Advisor Role

The payments industry is undergoing significant changes, driven by advances in technology and shifting consumer behaviors. As a Regulatory Advisor at Adyen, you will play a key role in shaping our approach to regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor legislative developments and advise on their impact to our business.
  • Represent the team on various workstreams and drive regulatory strategy.
  • Operationalize regulatory requirements for Australia and New Zealand.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters.
  • Manage routine and ad-hoc regulatory requests and filings.
  • Advise on matters with merchants, service providers, and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Hold a law degree from Australia.
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Show ability to conduct analysis of policy issues.
  • Have at least 3+ years of experience in a regulatory or legal role.
  • Have working knowledge of the payment industry.
  • Be a critical thinker, strategist, and problem-solver.
  • Show independence and ownership.
