Machine Performance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Machine Performance Specialist to join our team at our Brendale site in Brisbane. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks to improve machine availability and efficiency.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve business outcomes.
  • Liaise with Electrical Trades where required.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects to achieve improved Safety, Productivity, Quality & Reliability.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory as required.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of "good practice" preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatics experience.
  • A developed safety awareness and ability to work within a strong safety culture.
  • An analytical ability to fault find and diagnose problems.
  • Written & verbal communication skills.
  • Decision Making - Problem solving with a cost-effective solution that maximises production uptime.
  • Prioritising safety above all else.

Qualifications:

  • Trades qualified Fitter or equivalent.
