We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to play a key role in our team, delivering high-quality ecological services and advice to clients across various sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our business.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading fieldwork programs, collecting and interpreting ecological data, and developing technical reports detailing project outcomes and implications for environmental impact assessment and management. They will also participate in multidisciplinary assessments and project teams, integrating their technical work into comprehensive solutions.
In addition to their technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will be responsible for mentoring junior staff members and assisting in the preparation of tenders and proposals.

Required Skills and Qualifications- Appropriate tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
- At least 6 years' experience in an ecological role, with a strong background in flora and fauna identification and report writing
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate multiple projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
