This role plays a vital part in connecting millions of Australians and building community resilience.
About the Opportunity:
You will be part of a team that provides exceptional customer experiences. You will assist customers with sales and service transactions, manage high-value transactions accurately, and promote our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling.
The Role:
- On-the-job training for 12 weeks between Monday to Friday (4-5 hours per day)
- Casual on-call as required after training, various shifts between Monday to Friday 8:45am - 5:06pm + Saturdays
- Hourly rate $32.37 increases to $34.59 once training completed + 12% Superannuation
You'll Be:
- Performing customer sales and service transactions with customers
- Managing high value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS)
- Conducting and processing identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews
- Promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities
- Assisting customers with mail lodgements and associate costs
- Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
- Assisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance
About You:
You are friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable, with experience in customer service and/or cash handling. You are ready to put the customer at the centre of everything you do to help make a difference in the community.
