This role may involve providing in-home support, which requires flexibility and adaptability, including working afternoon and night shifts.

About You
  • **Effective Communication Skills**: Confident in engaging with clients, building positive relationships, and supporting their unique needs.
  • **Resilience and Self-Assurance**: Able to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and adapt to changing situations.
  • **Task Prioritization and Problem-Solving**: Skilled in prioritizing tasks and demonstrating problem-solving abilities to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • **Flexibility and Availability**: Willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to meet the needs of clients.
  • **Technical Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook, and able to learn new systems and technologies.
  • **Certifications and Checks**: Holder of a valid Australian Driver's License, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • **Health and Safety**: Able to pass a National Criminal History Check and maintain full COVID vaccination status.
  • **Experience and Qualifications**: Experience working with high-needs Disability clients and a Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent (desirable).
  • **Desirable Skills**: Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) processes and handy craft skills (sewing, knitting, crocheting).
