Job Title: Apprentice Shopfitter

Baresque is a leading global product developer, fabricator, supplier, and distributor of interior finishes and public space furniture. We are seeking an Apprentice Shopfitter to join our team and contribute to the design, manufacture, and construction of fixtures and fittings for retail, hospitality, and other commercial spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the fabrication team leader in the design, manufacture, and construction of fixtures and fittings.
  • Identify and apply information from plans, drawings, and specifications to create functional and aesthetically pleasing custom interior products.
  • Manufacture products from drawings for both standard and detailed custom fabrications.
  • Learn skills and techniques such as measuring and cutting of materials, carpentry and joinery, upholstery, material handling, and health & safety.
  • Effectively communicate as part of a team and other divisions of the business.
  • Fabricate components using CNC machinery, various power tools, and hand tools.
  • Assemble internal units and prepare for transport.
Requirements:
  • Ability to follow directions and deadlines to a high-quality output.
  • Eye for detail and a can-do attitude.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and well-presented.
  • Willingness to undertake a TAFE Certificate III in cabinet making or shopfitting.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to think on your feet and find solutions.
  • Australian residency.
Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

Friday: 7:00 am to 1:00 pm

Salary:

Up to $27 per hour, dependent upon stage/year of apprenticeship.
