Apprentice Shopfitter

Baresque is seeking an Apprentice Shopfitter to join our fabrication team. As a shopfitter apprentice, you will be involved in the design, manufacture, and construction of fixtures and fittings for retail, hospitality, and other commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the fabrication team leader in the design and manufacture of custom interior products.
- Identify and apply information from plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Manufacture products from drawings for both standard and detailed custom fabrications.
- Learn skills and techniques such as measuring and cutting of materials, carpentry and joinery, upholstery, material handling, and health & safety.
- Effectively communicate as part of a team and with other divisions of the business.
- Ability to follow directions and deadlines to a high-quality output.
- Eye for detail and a can-do attitude.
- Punctuality, reliability, and good presentation.
- Willingness to undertake a TAFE Certificate III in cabinet making or shopfitting.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to think on your feet and find solutions.
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Friday: 7:00 am to 1:00 pm
Salary: up to $27 per hour, dependent upon stage/year of apprenticeship.
