About the Role:

Established in 1948, Visy has evolved from manufacturing corrugated cardboard boxes in Melbourne, Australia, to becoming a premier privately owned entity in the packaging, paper, and recycling sectors. Our commitment to growth is reflected in our dedication to fulfilling customer needs while responsibly utilizing and reusing limited resources.

We are currently in search of Operators across various experience levels to enhance our Board site in Dandenong. The successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Operating machinery to fulfill production, service, and quality benchmarks.
  • Assuming Operator responsibilities in their absence, overseeing crew and machinery setup.
  • Assisting with machinery setup, disassembly, and upkeep.
  • Evaluating and ensuring the adequacy of die forms, stereos, and inks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Operating production machinery and related equipment for cardboard packaging manufacturing.
  • Assisting with job transitions and related tasks.
  • Conducting quality inspections and procedural checks to guarantee the highest quality for our customers.
  • Performing housekeeping duties and any additional tasks required as part of the production team.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and hands-on machine operation is preferred.
