Job Overview

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Are you seeking a fulfilling career in early childhood intervention? We are looking for a skilled Early Years Specialist to join our diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists. In this role, you will:
- Provide support in collaboration with families to help them achieve their objectives, utilizing evidence-based best practices.
- Conduct assessments and observations to customize support options that align with each child's and family's needs.
- Empower families and caregivers, enhancing their skills and confidence to support children in daily activities through your coaching abilities.
- Connect children and families with community resources to ensure their inclusion and participation in chosen settings and activities.
- Maintain detailed records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals within the organizational system.
- Guide families through the application and implementation processes of funding plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this position, you will need:
- A degree in Speech Pathology.
- In-depth knowledge of child development and the ability to recognize developmental challenges.
- A proven history of supporting families and children with developmental delays or disabilities, including effective strategies for home and other settings.
- Comprehensive understanding of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and best practices in early childhood intervention.
