
Dietary Care Specialist

As a Dietetic Assistant, you will provide clinical care to patients by utilizing computerized systems to record safe meal orders, optimize nutrition and compliance with therapeutic diet orders. You will also monitor nutritional intake and provide appropriate intervention and education.
Key responsibilities include liaising with patients, dietitians, nursing staff, medical staff, and allied health staff regarding dietary requirements, selection, and delivery of meals and supplements. Patients at risk or with malnutrition will be identified through the use of nutrition screening tools and appropriate interventions provided.
