Senior Psychiatry Leadership Opportunity

This position is a rewarding opportunity for a senior psychiatrist to provide high-quality psychiatry services and lead the mental health clinical team.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include providing expert psychiatric care, supervising junior staff, and developing effective treatment plans.

Requirements
  • Ambitious and experienced psychiatrist with a solid background in psychiatric practice.
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration as a Specialist in Psychiatry with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
  • Preference given to candidates with a Certificate in Psychiatry of Old Age or an interest in this area.
  • Eligibility for accreditation as a RANZCP-approved supervisor.

A competitive remuneration package comprising:

  • A salary rate between $251,527 - $266,677 p.a. (L25-L27)
  • A salary rate between $210,332 - $244,313 p.a. (L18-L24)
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
