At Macquarie, we're looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our Cyber Platforms team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working on complex data pipelines and ensuring data quality and accessibility for Engineers and Analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing, designing, supporting, and executing multiple work-streams in consultation with key stakeholders and business leads.
  • Designing and maintaining data pipelines and ensuring data quality and accessibility for Engineers and Analysts.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go.
  • Ability to build RESTful APIs in Python and experience in Flask.
  • Expertise in SQL and knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Cassandra).
  • Experience with big data tools (such as Spark and Kafka) and data pipeline and workflow management tools.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
