Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Ozcare. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in Toowoomba.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of our clients
  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as showering, dressing, and medication management
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure holistic care and support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Requirements:
  • Current Police Screening Certificate
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Home & Community Care
  • A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance
  • Current Queensland driver's licence
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
  • Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Hepatitis B, Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
  • Good computer & mobile device skills
