Pharmacy Assistant Role

  • We seek an experienced Pharmacy Assistant for a part-time role (30 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookings and gather patient information.
  • Assist with initial screening.
  • Training will be provided through the ACP full scope of practice for pharmacy assistants course as well as on-the-job training with our prescribing pharmacists.

You will be part of an exciting new era in pharmacy at one of the first pharmacies providing this service 6 days a week. You will also assist with welcoming customers, stocking and facing shelves, ticketing, merchandising, maintaining a clean and organized store, and processing transactions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Previous Pharmacy or Retail experience preferred.
  • Cash handling and register skills.
  • Customer focused.
  • Strong communication skills between all stakeholders.
  • Dedicated work ethic.
  • Will to learn and grow with the business.
  • Ability to work in a team and individually.
  • Eye for detail and accuracy.
