Security Officer

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Security & Ancillary Services Officer to join our team at St Andrew's Hospital. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our staff, patients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols of hospital buildings and grounds to ensure a secure environment
- Monitor access points and control entry outside business hours to prevent unauthorized access
- Assist with traffic control and provide exceptional customer service at the front entrance
- Report security incidents and unauthorized personnel to SA Police in a timely manner
- Monitor and respond to CCTV footage to identify potential threats and take appropriate action
- Escort staff to vehicles for safety and address hazards through incident reporting systems
- Assist with waste management and grounds maintenance to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Undertake administrative tasks as directed to support the security team
- A current SA Security Agents Licence and Driver's Licence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, and visitors
- Experience in providing in-house security services, preferably in a corporate environment
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve security goals
