Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant Position

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist to provide high-quality patient care at a state-of-the-art hospital in North Lismore, Australia.

This role involves providing medical services to patients, supervising junior doctors, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent healthcare outcomes.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • Curent AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide High-Quality Patient Care

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with obstetric and gynaecological conditions.
  • Perform surgical procedures and other medical interventions as required.

Supervise and Train Junior Medical Officers

  • Mentor junior doctors in obstetrics and gynaecology procedures and best practices.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to junior doctors.

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams

  • Work collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals, and other medical staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
