Clinical Documentation Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist to enhance our organization's healthcare services. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing Activity Based Management principles at the point of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead the implementation of ABM principles at the point of care within designated facilities to ensure best practice, patient safety, and accurate reimbursement.
  • To serve as a liaison between clinical and management environments to operationalize ABM principles for quality and performance improvement purposes.
  • To facilitate reviews of clinical documentation at the point of care that reflects care delivery and resource utilization, supporting reimbursement of services.
  • To provide expert advice, guidance, and analytical support enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions within the ABM framework.
