About the Role

The Department of Geriatric Medicine is a leading provider of specialist medical services for the region, and we are looking for a suitably qualified applicant to provide specialist geriatric medicine services.

The successful applicant will have a range of clinical, teaching and research interests and experience, and will be motivated to meet the service needs of the community and to promote education and innovation in Geriatric Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist geriatric medicine services to patients
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical redesign initiatives to improve the older person's journey within the organisation
  • Participate in interstate research collaborations in Dementia and Parkinson's Disease
  • Engage in monthly regional outreach clinical services
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must either hold the FRACP or have completed their specialist training in a comparable medical setting.
