Job Title: Plant Mechanic

Overview

The Plant Mechanic will be responsible for carrying out warranty and customer repairs on a range of equipment in a timely and efficient manner. This is a customer-facing role that requires offering support and advice, as well as performing maintenance on the customer fleet.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out warranty and customer repairs on a range of equipment.
  • Providing support and advice to customers.
  • Performing maintenance on the customer fleet.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Technology Trade Certificate or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an isolated and remote environment.
  • Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills through CAT SIS & CAT ETP.
  • Previous port trade Caterpillar experience in a field service environment.
  • Demonstrated strong safety values.
  • Ability to organise work teams and delegate tasks.
  • Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • A valid LR Drivers Licence.
  • Caterpillar knowledge and maintenance experience.
