The Opportunity
Due to growth in the Gunnedah region, we are seeking a trade qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team on a 6/6 day and night roster. As a key member, your role will involve electrical troubleshooting services and maintenance, component installations and repairs on various plant and product lines.
- Australian Accredited Electrical Qualification and current driver's license
- Appropriate Trade Qualification (Air conditioning license highly regarded)
- Demonstrated experience with mobile plant equipment and heavy machinery
- Previous field service exposure beneficial
- Inherent requirement to attend multiple sites
- Demonstrated experience and solid understanding of mining equipment maintenance
- Understand the importance of Workplace Health & Safety and be proactive in reducing hazards
- Promote mobile equipment while identifying service work
- Excellent diagnostic, problem solving and technical skills
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks on mobile plant equipment and heavy machinery
- Identify and diagnose faults using technical knowledge and experience
- Repair or replace faulty components as necessary
- Install new components and systems as required
- Work safely and efficiently to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Trade qualification in electrical engineering
- Australian Accredited Electrical Qualification
- Current driver's license
- Experience with mobile plant equipment and heavy machinery
- Previous field service exposure beneficial
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
