The role of Administrative and Procurement Specialist is critical in ensuring seamless operations within the Aboriginal support functions. This position plays a vital part in maintaining contracts, cultural programs, and compliance with reporting obligations.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing invoice payment processes, including accruals and month-end journals.
- Managing procurement activities to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Maintaining items in Zycus for the division to guarantee adherence to standards.
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- Demonstrated expertise in providing specialist administrative and corporate support.
- Able to undertake complex procurement activities.
- Skilled in contract reporting and evaluation with various business systems.
- An ability to manage multiple priorities within agreed timeframes.
Desirable qualifications include experience in procurement and contract management, as well as working with Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations or similar service providers.
