About the Role

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers who have a passion for supporting individuals with mental health conditions and challenging behaviors. As a Disability Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering in-home care and support to our participants, enabling them to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and enable participants with daily tasks, including meal preparation, personal care, and administering medication.
  • Support clients to engage and participate in their community.
  • Enable participants to achieve their goals and live independently.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Minimum 1 plus years of experience in the disability sector.Experience across a range of disabilities, including challenging behaviors, Mental Health, and Autism.Minimum Certificate III Disability or similar/higher.Good communication skills.Empathy for the issues facing people with a disability.Strong belief in the principles of Person-Centred Practices.Highly organised and proactive.NSW Driver's License (or similar) plus own car is desirable.
