You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. This includes:

Specialist training opportunities Buddy shifts with CPA’s experienced Disability Support WorkersOpportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability. 

We are growing our casual team that support our group homes in the Central Coast. We can consider candidates new to industry or with experience, that live locally Long Jetty, Wyong and Umina Beach in the Central Coast.

Your duties will include:

Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handlingSupporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independentSupporting clients to engage and participate in their communityBuilding positive relationships with our clientsTransporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicable

Requirements

A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum) is preferredLive locally to the locations mentioned above
