The Role

As an Environmental Sustainability Strategist, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of sustainability programs, policies, and procedures across various departments. This includes:

  • Tracking and measuring Red Bull Australia's CO2 footprint to the lowest and most accurate level possible, and reporting via Climate Partner.
  • Developing and executing RBAU Strategic Sustainability Plan, encompassing all elements of the business, including but not limited to, marketing, sales, operations, and events.
  • Ensuring that the relevant sustainability elements are incorporated within all supplier contracts and agreements, while regularly ensuring compliance to these.
  • Be responsible for Red Bull Australia's development of and compliance to, Australia's Modern Slavery Act via our Annual Statement.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years working in a similar role within a large multinational organisation or consulting firm.
  • Demonstratable experience running projects and leading/influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to use programme management skills in innovative ways and remain flexible as the role develops.
  • Subject matter knowledge and expertise of environmental and social sustainability in food/beverage industries.
  • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework surrounding sustainability requirements.
