Advanced Cardiac Nursing Specialist

Care for complex cardiac patients and work autonomously within a supportive team in this 12-month, part-time role.
- Develop advanced clinical skills through a well-established structured program and rotations across critical care settings.
- Benefit from the support of a Clinical Educator and shift support offered through Clinical Support Nurses.
Responsibilities include:
- Engage in a Graduate Diploma of Nursing: Cardiac Care, in affiliation with La Trobe University.
- Rotate to ICU, Cardiac theatre, and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory for comprehensive training.
- Assess competencies onsite by Clinical Educator; develop post-operative cardiothoracic care skills.
- Registered Nurse with minimum 2 years acute nursing experience.
- Previous cardiac nursing experience is highly desirable.
