About the RoleWe are currently seeking a highly skilled Track/Civil Senior Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations team based in Laverton North, VIC. Our Rail Operations team is a specialized business unit within Laing O'Rourke Group, focusing on the self-delivery of all aspects of rail construction, including track, overhead wiring, civil, and construction services.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Tracking costs and managing subcontractors
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Providing leadership and direction to direct reports
- Interfacing with design management and construction delivery teams
- Upholding and promoting the highest health and safety standards
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects in rail and associated infrastructure, preferably in a tier 1 setting
- Leadership skills and the ability to provide direction to direct reports
- A degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or construction management, with experience working on the delivery of major infrastructure projects, utility relocations, and stakeholder management
