About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Hand to join our Poultry team at McLean Farms. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our farm equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on farm equipment, including machinery, feeding systems, and ventilation equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and recorded for future reference.
  • Monitor and maintain strict adherence to animal welfare standards and biosecurity protocols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of the farm.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in an agricultural setting.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and data analysis for farm management purposes.
