Bupa Tugun is a modern care home situated in a lovely beachside suburb.

The home features a secure dementia support community for those with specialised needs, supported by experienced Clinical Care Managers and Registered Nurses providing resident care.

Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.


About The Role

You will have full responsibility for the overall daily operations of our care home.

Create a culture that encourages teamwork and collaboration focussed on delivering optimum resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational management
  • Clinical risk minimisation
  • Financial management
  • ACFI management
  • Staff retention and recruitment
  • Training and development of staff
  • Succession planning
  • Occupancy management
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Skills and Experience Required:

- Previous management experience in a multi-level residential aged care home

- Exceptional operational leadership experience

- Demonstrated abilities in growing and developing people

- Advanced understanding of service improvement, WHS principles and previous experience within a regulatory environment

- Proven ability to manage resources and exceed targets

- Track record of accomplishment of successfully implementing change initiatives

- Possess excellent communication skills with high levels of emotional intelligence

- A thorough understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
