The Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team plays a pivotal role in overseeing the management of legal risks associated with Comcare's claims litigation portfolio.

As a key member of this team, the Legal Adviser will work closely with the Senior Legal Adviser to support the strategic delivery of litigation and dispute resolution services to Comcare.

Key responsibilities include resolving problems, managing risk effectively, and managing workload in a manner consistent with the APS Values and Code of Conduct.


Mandatory Qualifications and Skills

Admission as a legal practitioner of the High Court or the Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory is mandatory. Additionally, a current practicing certificate is required.

Eligible candidates must possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


Terms and Conditions of Employment

Successful applicants will be subject to a character clearance process, employee health declaration, and six months probationary period for new engagements.
