About the Role

We're seeking a recent graduate with a passion for machine learning to join our team as a Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, you'll work on building and optimizing models, designing intelligent systems, and bringing next-generation secure AI capabilities into production environments.

You'll collaborate with our AI scientists, software teams, and other engineers to achieve this goal. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the design, training, fine-tuning, and evaluation of large language models (LLMs) and domain-specific models using structured and unstructured datasets.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for building and optimizing end-to-end ML pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, vectorisation, and inference workflows. You'll also develop secure backend services using Python and design and implement GraphQL and REST APIs for AI-driven workflows.

This is an ideal opportunity for graduates with a strong foundation in computer science and machine learning. You'll have the chance to work on national impact AI products and learn from experienced AI engineers and product designers.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 6.0 or above from a recognized Australian university
  • Experience with TypeScript, React, and Python
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
