The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing integration patterns from an API gateway perspective, ensuring secure access and seamless system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms for APIs and applications.
  • Develop and maintain Axway API Gateway policies to facilitate secure access and seamless system integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize API performance, security, and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Identity integration and Axway API Gateway platform management roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Axway API Gateway policy development and management following industry standards and modern frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of Identity protocols and standards (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML).
  • Knowledge of API security principles and best practices, including encryption, authentication, and authorization.
  • Familiarity with Identity and API management platforms (e.g., Axway API Gateway, ForgeRock Identity Platform, Oracle IAM, Mule Gateway, Azure AD).
  • Industry experience in Insurance or Banking, with an understanding of industry-specific compliance and security requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and Cloud Architecture design principles.
  • Experience with Splunk for monitoring, analytics, and operational intelligence.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.

Benefits and Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is AU$120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location of XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd. This figure includes base salary, bonuses, and other benefits associated with the position.
