
Risk Governance Specialist

This is a senior leadership position to shape the organisation's governance and compliance culture.
- Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of an organisational-wide risk and compliance framework.
- Act as the AML/CTF Compliance Officer ensuring adherence to AUSTRAC obligations and best practice in customer due diligence and transaction monitoring.
- Oversee compliance with liquor, gaming and club licensing requirements engaging with regulators such as Liquor & Gaming NSW.
- Design and embed an enterprise-wide risk management framework including risk registers policies and reporting structures.
- Partner with IT and Privacy functions to strengthen cyber and information security oversight.
- Drive internal external audits contractor/vendor compliance and regulatory reporting.
- You should have 8-15+ years experience in risk compliance or regulatory roles in clubs gaming hospitality or other highly regulated environments.
- You should have strong knowledge of AML/CTF obligations AUSTRAC reporting and compliance frameworks.
- You should have experience in governance WHS workers' compensation and return-to-work obligations.
- You should have the ability to lead teams influence stakeholders at all levels.
- You should have high integrity a strong analytical mindset and hands-on approach.
- Professional certification e.g. CAMS ICA Diploma and/or tertiary qualifications in Risk Compliance Law Business or WHS are highly regarded.
