About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Assistant to join our Camberwell retail team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices with high accuracy.
  • Effective collection, sorting and pricing of donations in store.
  • Contribution to visual merchandising and store presentation that drives customer engagement.
  • Providing exceptional customer service through proactive communication and empathy.
  • Correct display of stock in designated departments according to policy and procedure.
  • Adherence to Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures for a safe work environment.
  • Demonstration of core values in all work-related activities.
  • Heavy lifting and manual handling of stock, including furniture and large donations, requiring physical stamina.
Requirements:
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Able to deliver outstanding results in a dynamic retail environment.
  • High-energy approach with a proven track record in providing extraordinary customer service.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and willingness to work across various locations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with solid technical abilities.
