
Lead Nurse

You will lead the clinical and care team in the day-to-day operations of our Nursing Home. Reporting to the Clinical Care Coordinator, this is a hands-on role working alongside the team to deliver high quality, person-centred care for residents.
In doing this, you will coach and mentor the team and facilitate an environment where residents, families, staff, and visitors feel respected, cared for, valued, safe, and happy.
Your primary focus is to ensure that all nursing functions within the Home run smoothly and efficiently. You will provide leadership, coordination and clinical supervision to facilitate and manage the complex health and wellbeing needs of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the clinical and care team in the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Home.
- Coach and mentor the team to deliver high quality, person-centred care for residents.
- Facilitate an environment where residents, families, staff, and visitors feel respected, cared for, valued, safe, and happy.
- Ensure that all nursing functions within the Home run smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide leadership, coordination and clinical supervision to facilitate and manage the complex health and wellbeing needs of residents.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse).
- Experience in the Aged Care industry, ideally in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and think critically.
- Strong clinical skills and understanding of the aged care standards, care delivery models, resident choice and reporting requirements.
