Job Title:

Exercise Medicine Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver individualised exercise programs to patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding the benefits of exercise during cancer treatment.
  • Provide timely information to patients interested in exercise, answering questions and alleviating concerns where necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records and communicate with relevant clinicians.
  • Oversee the physical space of the exercise clinic.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology with ESSA Accreditation.
  • CPR & Current First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in exercise oncology (desired).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developing appropriate exercise programs for diverse physical capabilities.
  • Genuine passion for patient care and responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience communicating with healthcare professionals (desired).
  • Understanding of principles of behaviour change to guide patients towards exercise engagement.
