Job Title

A highly skilled investment professional is required to join our team as a Portfolio Manager.

  • This role involves the translation, implementation and monitoring of fixed income investment strategies across various portfolios;
  • Portfolio compliance with mandate guidelines, risk profile and investment objectives will be closely monitored;
  • Regular evaluation of portfolio performance and attribution will be carried out;
  • Support will be provided regarding portfolio activity for client reports and other communications.

The successful candidate will participate in strategy meetings and be expected to have in-depth knowledge of financial market drivers and economic developments relevant to interest rates and fixed income markets.

Your Team

You'll be working as a member of the Australian Fixed Income team. Our team is responsible for managing institutional and wholesale client funds across different fixed income mandates.

About You
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related fields would be beneficial. CFA and/or Master's degree could also be advantageous;
  • A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in an asset management or financial services firm, with exposure to solid familiarity with fixed income and derivatives markets;
  • Strong knowledge of macroeconomics and fixed income strategies, particularly in Australian fixed income strategies;
  • Excellent attention to detail, numeracy and ability to work under deadlines;
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and written communication of a technical nature;
  • Ability to assimilate information from multiple sources and a deep interest in investment markets;
  • Any quantitative/programming skills would be advantageous
