
Dedicated Care Leader

This position presents a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents.
The After-Hours Supervisor will provide strategic leadership and oversight during non-business hours, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality, person-centered care to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.
- Managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff.
- Developing and implementing individual care plans that cater to each resident's unique health requirements and preferences.
- Ensuring proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.
- Communicating effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.
- Handling emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aged care as a registered nurse.
- Grade 5, registered nurse.
- Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.
- Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting, and evaluation documentation.
- Capability to effectively lead and manage a team.
