About the Role

This role involves providing outpatient assessment and health promotion services to patients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

You will assess the level of care required for patients and set priorities accordingly, as well as initiating treatment for minor injuries and illnesses.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • 2 years full-time post registration nursing experience within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent), in an acute care, primary healthcare, or military setting.
  • Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients.
About Stirling

The Stirling Health Centre is located approximately 45km South of Perth, on base at HMAS Stirling on Garden Island.

This base has a 4km causeway that connects the island to the mainland of Rockingham.

The health centre itself offers physiotherapy, dentistry, pharmaceutical, general medical and outpatient services.

It provides support to the Submarine and Underwater Medicine Unit.

The standard hours of operation are 0730-1600, Monday-Friday.

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum depending on experience.
