Principal Mechanical Engineer, Water

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Water team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering complex water infrastructure projects that will change the way NSW operates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment plants.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in water infrastructure design and delivery, with a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong technical skills, with proficiency in design software and tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
