Job Description

We are seeking a Roster Coordinator Specialist to join our team at NSW Ambulance. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the reception, documentation, and progress of telephone and other calls relating to the management of day-of-shift absences and the rostering of on-road vacancies.

The ideal candidate will have experience with shift management and task delegation in a fast-paced, 24-hour workforce operation environment. They will also possess technical skills such as proficient use of call centre-based programs, workforce management applications, and Human Resource Information Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the reception, documentation, and progress of telephone and other calls
  • Roster on-road vacancies in a timely manner
  • Provide direction and assistance to the Absence Coordination Line Officer and administrative support to the rostering, deployment, and People Hub teams

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong understanding of rostering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Technical skills in call centre-based programs, workforce management applications, and Human Resource Information Systems
