We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced support workers to join us in improving the lives of people with disabilities.

About the Role:

The role involves assisting clients with daily living tasks, community access, and participation, as well as providing personal care and meal preparation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with mental health and complex behaviours.

  • Assisting Clients with Daily Living: this includes personal care, grooming, and medication management
  • Community Access and Participation: accompanying clients on outings and activities
  • Supporting Chores Around the House: helping with household tasks and maintenance
  • Transportation Services: driving clients to appointments and activities
  • Coordinating Appointments: booking and attending medical and social appointments
Essential Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A current First Aid Certification is a requirement
  • A current CPR Certification is required
  • NDIS Worker Clearance Check or DCSI Screening (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current Police Check is essential
  • Right to Work in Australia is mandatory
  • A current Driver's License is necessary
  • Own Reliable Vehicle with Insurance is required
  • Relevant Cert III or Cert IV (or Working Towards) is preferred
  • Ability to Connect with People from Various Backgrounds and Cultures is desired
Desirable Skills:

The following skills are desirable but not essential:

  • Manual Handling Training can be beneficial
  • Epilepsy and Seizure Management Training can be advantageous
  • Medicine Administration Training can be useful
