Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Role:
A Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist is sought to provide expert guidance and support in helping individuals return to work.
This role involves conducting comprehensive vocational assessments, developing personalized rehabilitation plans, and providing ongoing case management to ensure successful outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of occupational health and vocational rehabilitation principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough vocational assessments to identify clients' abilities, goals, and barriers to employment
- Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans to promote successful return-to-work outcomes
- Provide ongoing case management and support to clients throughout the rehabilitation process
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
- Qualification in an allied health field (e.g., occupational therapy, psychology, social work, or exercise physiology)
- Registration/membership/accreditation with relevant governing bodies
- Experience in occupational/vocational rehabilitation (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for promoting healthy work environments and supporting individuals in their return-to-work journeys
