Medical Officer Opportunity in Rural Queensland

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Officer to join our team at a public hospital in rural Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and community.

The successful candidate will be working in a collaborative multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of comprehensive healthcare services. The hospital offers a range of medical services, including emergency care, general surgery, obstetrics, paediatrics, and various outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a rural setting
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services

Requirements:

  • Registered Medical Practitioner with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
