Responsibilities include:
* Cutting, threading, and installing below-ground drainage systems and supporting systems.
* Ground preparation and trenching.
* Align and position pipes to prepare them for sealing.
* Working from plans and specifications and setting out.
* Locating and marking positions for pipeline connections.
* Installing below ground sewerage systems and supporting systems.
* Joining pipe sections and securing pipes.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Civil Construction (Pipe Laying) or equivalent.
* At least 5 years experience in pipe laying.
* Strong understanding of pipe laying techniques and procedures.
* Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver's licence.
Salary ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 depending on experience.
