About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Biomedical Scientist to join our Microbiology team at Ipswich Hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a specialist area, managing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the team, and implementing service improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for specialist investigations and quality of results
- Provide specialist advice to clinicians on test appropriateness and timescales
- Lead on service improvement and coordinate team activities
- Work flexibly in reflection of service needs which may include extended working hours or participation in 24/7 services
About Our Pathology Service
We provide hospital and community health services to almost one million people across east Suffolk and north Essex.
